Hokuto no Ken(Fist of the North Star) is an anime about brave warriors who fight for their ideals and to protect what they love. Kenshiro is the successor of the ultimate assassination style known as "Hokuto Shinken", a martial arts discipline which enables him to kill his adversaries by pressing their vital points and make them explode from within. "You are already dead. "- that's all Kenshiro says to his opponents when he has already struck their vital points. As he goes on his journey Kenshiro will have to face many strong opponents and some of them are his own brothers. Despite this Kenshiro always emerges victorious and always carries with himself the compassion and sadness for the men that he defeated. He has a very strong sense of justice, helps everyone in need and he is the true savior of this post apocalyptic world, the world which took away from him his beloved woman, Yuria. What has fate prepared for Kenshiro ? Will he ever be united with his love ?

-Atatatatata  ATA! Really, since I was five years old and even now Kenshiro has been my favourite anime character. He is simply awesome, cool and well,he can kick your ass.

Yeah this anime is great, it has a very good storyline even though the battles can get repetitive sometimes. Each character is special in its own way be him good or evil and I am not sure if you can call anyone truly evil in here (well despite Shura and those thousands of weakling that Kenshiro kills all the time :P) because all of them are men which difficult circumstances made them turn into what Kenshiro had to face. Despite all this greatness surrounding this anime it is not fit for everyone because of the very old animations and it can be very difficult for you to watch it at first if you aren't used to them.The soundtrack is good,especially its openings and the battle theme. Anyway if you like martial arts anime than you should absolutely watch this, you won't find better warriors than the ones in here.
